NACEN DEL NOPAL
Nacen del Nopal brings together woodblock prints by 14 artists from Oaxaca, Mexico. From the Tobalá agave of the highlands to the wooden leopard masks of the coast, the exhibition explores the deep and varied symbolism woven throughout the cultures of the region.
Join us for a visual journey through the spiritual and physical worlds of southern Mexico—and perhaps find your own protector along the way.

Live Figure drawing at Secret Gallery
Join artist Ben Harrison for a monthly figure study session at Secret Gallery. Each gathering features a new live model and provides artists the opportunity to work from observation in a creative environment.
Artists of all skill levels and mediums are welcome, including drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media. Please bring your own materials. A suggested $10 donation helps support the program and our featured models.

Floracion Fuerte: Samantha Chavez Solo Exhibit
Floración Fuerte (Strong Bloom)
Secret Gallery presents Floración Fuerte, a solo exhibition by Santa Fe artist Samantha Chavez. Through bold color, floral symbolism and emotionally charged imagery, Chavez explores anxiety, generational trauma and the resilience found through healing.
Join us for the opening reception on Friday, August 7, during ABQ Artwalk, featuring music by Suavecito and a special pop-up cocktail bar.
Flores del Barrio
Flores del Barrio is a one-night floral installation celebrating the beauty of locally grown flowers, contemporary design, and the communities that cultivate them. Created by New Mexico florist Kara Olguin, the installation transforms Secret Gallery into an immersive landscape of seasonal blooms, highlighting sustainable floristry while honoring the agricultural traditions that continue to shape New Mexico.
Throughout the evening, visitors are invited to experience the installation alongside a special presentation by the Black Men's Flower Project, live music from DJ Wae Fonkey and a pop-up bar.
